Saara’s Cooking Camp

June 30th - July 2nd   2014        9:30 am - 1pm

Saara’s Cooking Camp is a three day summer camp with a purpose.

Children ages 7 to 12 are invited to learn cooking techniques while helping impoverished children around the world.

At SCC you will learn to cook, make new friends, and best of all, discover how to make a difference.  You will learn cooking basics like liquid and dry measuring, whisking and folding, and even how to use an electric mixer.  Alongside your cooking lessons, you will hear about the daily struggles of children living in poverty.  As you develop an appreciation for how tremendously blessed you are compared to most children in the world, you’ll be eager to help others.  Finally, through the sale of your homemade goodies, you will learn how compassion for others can be turned into action.  Come join us and discover that you have the power to make a difference in the world!

SCC has a rich history of empowering children to make world change.  Visit our registration page for more information on how to register for camp or contact us to volunteer.
